Intercoms, video entry, keypads, fobs, proximity readers and turnstiles, wired into the gate or the barrier and set up so the people who need to get in can actually get in. On new installations and on systems that are already there.
We fit access control on any make of gate, and we look after it afterwards.
What we install
Intercoms and video entry
Audio or video panels at the entrance, answered from a handset inside, a screen, or a phone. The most common way visitors get in.
Keypads
A code at the gate. Simple, no hardware to hand out, and codes can be changed when people leave.
Fobs and proximity readers
A fob or a card presented at a reader. Individual credentials can be cancelled, which a shared code cannot.
App and remote control
Opening from a phone, from a handset in the car, or automatically on the way out.
Turnstiles and speed lanes
Controlled pedestrian entry where the gate handles vehicles and people need a separate, counted route.
Door entry for blocks
Panels and handsets for managed residential blocks, specified around leaseholders, visitors and the managing agent who has to run it.

Getting the right people through the entrance
- One credential across the whole entrance. Gates, barriers and bollards wired to the same system, so a contractor is not carrying three fobs.
- Managed residential blocks. Bought by managing agents. Leaseholders, visitors, contractors and deliveries all need a route in, and someone has to be able to administer it without an engineer visit.
- Industrial and distribution sites. Where the entrance has to be controlled but cannot become a queue.
- Schools and public estates. Controlled pedestrian entry alongside vehicle access. Public sector and local authority.
- Adding control to what is already there. Most jobs we do are retrofits onto an existing gate or barrier rather than new installations.
Where a site runs automatic number plate recognition or CCTV, we can wire the gate or barrier to work with it as one input among several. Neither is a service we lead with.
Answering the gate from inside the house
If you have a gate on the drive, an intercom saves you walking down it. A panel goes on the pier or the post, and you answer it from a handset in the hall, a screen, or your phone if you would rather. Most people pair it with a keypad, so the cleaner or the family have a code and everybody else rings.

Access control we did not install
Access equipment lives outside, gets rained on and gets used every day, so it wears. Receivers, readers, panels and their wiring are among the most common things we replace. We maintain access control on any make, including systems we did not install.
The part nobody sees
Access control fails at the joins far more often than it fails at the panel: cable run in the wrong place, no spare cores left in the duct, a board with everything wired into one shared input, no surge protection on a long run. It usually works on the day and starts playing up a year later.
We wire it as though we will be the ones coming back to it, because we usually are.

Common questions
Can I have an intercom on the gate and answer it from inside the house?
Yes. That is what most people have. A panel goes at the entrance, and you answer it from a handset inside, from a screen on the wall, or from your phone. Video panels let you see who is there before you let them in. It can be fitted to a gate we installed or to one that was already there.
Can access control be added to a gate we already have?
Usually, yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Most gate control boards accept an input from an intercom, keypad or reader, so the question is normally about the cable route and the power rather than about the gate. We check that at the survey.
Do you maintain access control systems as well as install them?
Yes, on any make. Panels, readers, receivers and their wiring are outdoors and in daily use, so they wear out. You do not need us to have installed the system, and you do not need a contract to get one thing fixed.
