Metal railings

We make them to fit. Everything is measured on site first, and the panels are made in our own workshop to that measurement, taking the fall of the ground and the line of the wall into account. We can supply plainer standard designs too if that is what suits the job, but nothing is cut down on the day to make it fit an opening it was not made for.

Galvanised, powder coated in the colour you choose, or painted in a traditional finish. Which one is right depends on the metal, on how exposed the position is and on how the railings are meant to look, and those three do not always point the same way: a coastal or roadside frontage is a harder life than a sheltered front garden, and a period property often wants a painted finish that a modern one does not. We are not going to put a number of years on a web page, because a finish that is right for one frontage and wrong for another would make that number meaningless. What we will do is tell you at the free site survey which finish suits your position, and what looking after it involves.

Usually, yes. We do traditional wrought iron detail as well as plain bar, and we can make a run to a pattern taken from something already on the property, whether that is the rest of the frontage, a neighbouring run or a surviving section.
